Founded in 1894, they have played their home games at Ashton Gate since 1904 – a stadium that holds up to 27,000 fans. Louis Carey holds the record for most appearances, featuring 646 times for the Robins in two periods with the club. John Atyeo came ever-so close to that record, but played one less game than Carey. However, Atyeo does hold the record for most goals, netting 351 goals over a 15-year period.
