In the 2011/12 campaign, Fleetwood won the Conference and were promoted to the Football League for the first time in the club’s history. They have since established themselves as a Football League outfit and in May 2014 at Wembley Stadium, Fleetwood won the League Two play-off final to gain promotion to the third tier of English football.
The club have also been champions of the Northern Premier League Premier Division (2008) and the Northern Premier League First Division (1988). Fleetwood’s widest margin of victory came against Oldham Town in 1998, beating them 13-0 in the North West Counties League Division Two.
As for FA Cup performances, their best achievement was reaching the third round; doing so on four occasions (2011/12, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19). They have only reached the second round of the League Cup once though, which occurred recently in the 2018/19 campaign.
