Nicknamed ‘The Sky Blues’, City were founded in 1880, originally called St. Mark’s (West Gorton) and changed to Manchester City 14 years later. Pep Guardiola’s side broke a plethora of records throughout the campaign, including; most points (100), most wins (32), most away wins (16), most goals (106), most consecutive league wins (18), highest goal difference (+79) and biggest winning points margin (19).

Overall, the blue side of Manchester have six First Division/Premier League titles, six FA Cups, six League Cups, six FA Community Shields and one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. Despite their recent success, City fans will be desperate to get their hands on the Champions League, a trophy they are yet to win in their history.

The Sky Blues have completed a domestic treble just once in their entire history, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup in the 2018/19 campaign.
